The DSN sensor series
The DSN sensor series is like the iSENS sensor series a comprehensive set of components to configure sensors matching the applications requirements. Single laser triangulation sensor, multi line laser triangulation sensor, infrared sensor, stereo sensors, sensors with structured light, sensors with protection flap to work in rough environments and other allow any kind of combination for different measurement distances and accuracies.
Compactness for high densities of measurement features
On the component level the iSENS sensor series and the DSN sensor series are identical. But for the set up in the application camera and laser (light) module are separated units and not integrated by carriers. This has two implications regarding installation volume and calibration.Low installation volume for highest measurement features density
By the use of DSN sensors and the ball ended tubes a higher degree of freedom in the positioning of the sensors is realized. By this a highest density of sensors next to each other can be achieved. Especially for inline measurement tunnels for gap and flush measurement or absolute measurement in movement this allows the capture of multiple and dense next to each other measurement features in one shot.
